I was recently asked about working while pregnant so I thought I’d share my experience.
It was business as usual through my fifth month of pregnancy. I continued to audition and with some smart clothing choices no one even realized I was pregnant.
When I was clearly showing at six months, I called around commercial print agencies. They requested my headshot and a recent pregnant snap shot. I started freelancing, booking a “Mama on the Move” fitness shoot with Kiwi Magazine and a loungewear shoot with Belabumbum maternity.

My friend Elenna Stauffer even booked a National Volkswagen commercial at the end of her pregnancy. Also giving her the claim to fame that her co-star, celebrity Brooke Shields, was the first stranger to touch her belly!

The Green Room 
I know two actors who are currently pregnant and still working! One of them landed a role in a play that the character isn’t pregnant in the script, but her audition was so good that they decided to incorporate it into the blocking (it was really creative and quite exciting for me to see actually). I feel like as long as you keep auditioning that’s the thing that matters.

Ah thanks! I loved being pregnant, it sounds so banal but it really is miraculous. A perk of working while pregnant is that you get all these lovely preggers pics.
