The Green Room 
If you get the opportunity to work at Barter Theatre, don’t turn it down. I spent a summer as a Barter Player, and I have never been in such a supportive, arts-filled environment. Barter produces incredible, quality shows and treats its actors well. The housing (the Barter Inn) has just been remodeled, and each of the rooms has its own bathroom with shared kitchens on each floor. Abingdon, VA is absolutely stunning, and the community thrives off of Barter. You won’t regret taking a contract here.
